The Heart Failure Studies

Throughout the United States, clinical research studies are being conducted to determine the effectiveness of certain investigational medications in treating heart failure and other related conditions. As part of this voluntary research program, there are several different studies. The studies will enroll over 7,000 patients over a period of about 3 years. This research is being conducted at approximately 500 study sites in the United States.

The heart failure studies will enroll a variety of patients, including those who:

  • Are age 18 or older
  • Are taking heart medications for:
    • Heart failure; or
    • High blood pressure
  • Have heart failure that is either under control or getting worse
